Basswood Timber Shutters

Basswood is a short grained hardwood timber and well suited to shutters. This is a very stable timber and air dried for 12months before manufacturing to maximise its stability and resist wrapping. Its fine and uniform gain takes well to staining and when painted it gives a smooth flat finish.
